Tennessee is one of the most politically corrupt states in the nation according to a study "Corruption in America" by two Harvard University Economists.

Christian Citizens against Corruption took form in Monroe County, Tennessee, after citizens learned that local officials were involved in the abduction and torture of a Christian missionary in their community (see details).  After this event took place in 2006, citizens discovered that organized crime had taken over their communities, influencing local officials, police, attorneys and Judges and many court decisions. Greed, money, illegal drugs and perversion appeared to be the motivation. Tennessee corruption in the executive branch.  Articile 1,  Articile 2 and Articile 3. Federal sting operations like “Operation Tennessee Waltz" caught just a few of the corrupt state officials, while other officials were turned in by citizens; it was just the tip of the iceberg!  Since forming, Christian Citizens against Corruption has been making a difference in many communities by holding public officials accountable to their oath to office and to the communities that they serve as public servants.  The CCC encourages every Christian to stand firm in truth and righteousness when addressing corruption.  Whether it’s the removal of historical documents from your court house like the Ten Commandments, or public officials having self-serving agendas that directly oppose ethical and moral Christian values, or the misconduct of public officials in office, it is the responsibility of every citizen to hold these public officials accountable for their actions.  Citizens are compelled under law when they have knowledge that a crime has been or is being committed, to report that crime to the proper public officials. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”  (Edmund Burke,1729-1797).


We firmly believe what Ephesians 6:12 says in the Bible, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, authorities and the powers of darkness and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”  Therefore it is the responsibility of every Christian citizen to do the following:

1). Ask Jesus to remove complacency form your life and bring true repentance to your region.  Real change begins with us; we must acknowledge Jesus as Lord over ourselves, over our town, state, nation, and all possessions entrusted to us.  All things belong to Him.  Psalms 24:1-2.

2). Ask Jesus for clarity in discerning His voice from your own and the adversary’s.  We must individually empty ourselves through repentance and brokenness becoming a completely empty vessel before God.

3). Pray for your local county, state and national leaders (1Timothy 2:1-3).  We must individually choose to become a servant with humbleness and humility before God.

4). Ask Jesus to raise up dedicated Christian leadership in your region.  Through our individual obedience, Jesus faithfully renews and refreshes our emptiness with himself; evidence of this is experiencing His peace and joy!

5). Ask Jesus to prepare your heart and mind for his will.  God often uses small numbers of obedient individuals in biblical unity to do great things!

6). Ask Jesus to show you the problems in your region and how to pray with others.  Fervent unending prayer = breakthrough.

7). Thank Jesus for preparing your heart and mind for His perfect will, then expect great things.  Persistence and determination always prevails when seeking God's will!
